These terms govern your use of CareDex. They cover your account, acceptable use, the data licence that underpins the platform, and the commercial basics.
By accessing or using CareDex you agree to these Terms of Service. If you’re using CareDex on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
CareDex provides search, alerting and export tools over data sourced from the CQC public register. We work to keep the data current through twice-daily delta updates, a weekly full-register refresh and monthly ratings, but we provide it “as is” and do not warrant that the register is complete or error-free at any moment.
Each plan includes a 14-day free trial with no card required. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Plan limits — saved searches, exports and seats — are described on the pricing page.
You agree not to resell raw CareDex data as a competing dataset, attempt to re-identify individuals, scrape the platform, or use it to harass providers. Exported data must retain its CQC/OGL attribution.
The underlying care data is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 (Source: Care Quality Commission). Your use of exported data must comply with that licence, including attribution. CareDex is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the CQC.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the next billing date. Fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, CareDex is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for commercial decisions made on the basis of the data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be notified. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.
