This policy explains what personal data CareDex collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read — plain language first, legal precision second.
CareDex is operated by Caredex Ltd (“CareDex”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England. We provide a sales-intelligence platform built on public CQC data. For any privacy question, contact privacy@caredex.co.uk.
We collect only what we need to provide the service:
The care-establishment data in CareDex comes from the CQC’s public register under the Open Government Licence v3.0. It is organisational and location information — we do not publish registered-manager names or other personal data from the register. CareDex is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the CQC.
To operate your account, deliver alerts and exports, provide support, take payment, and improve the product. We rely on contract and legitimate-interest bases under UK GDPR, and consent where required (for example, marketing email you can opt out of at any time).
We share data only with the processors that run CareDex — hosting, analytics, email delivery and payments — each under contract. We never sell your personal data.
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or port your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@caredex.co.uk and we’ll respond within statutory timeframes. You may also complain to the ICO.
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be notified by email.
